Veterinarian Testimonials

Veterinarians Find United Pet Care Brings Repeat Customers that Help Build & Stabilize Their Practices.

United Pet Care has become a wonderful marketing arm for our practice.

We have truly enjoyed the relationships we have developed with the UPC clients. I became a provider for the United Pet Care (UPC) program when I opened my veterinary facility, Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. United Pet Care has become a wonderful marketing arm for our practice, especially in the employer market — which we would have difficulty reaching without them. We value the benefits the UPC program brings to our practice.

UPC… helps to provide us with a secure client base.

I became aware of the United Pet Care Program (UPC) while working at another veterinary facility that participated in the program. In 2004, I opened my own practice and joined the UPC provider network. UPC has exposed my pratice to thousands of pet owners through their employer groups and website, and helps to provide us with a secure client base. I believe our relationship with UPC to be mutually rewarding. The practice has grown substantially and we have many UPC clients.

We find the UPC program easy to administer

United Pet Care (UPC) has been integrated into my practice, Paws Veterinary Clinic, since 1998. UPC’s program helps to provide us with a secure client base of pet owners who return for services on a regular basis. With monthly information forwarded to us by UPC, we are always kept informed of our new UPC clients. We find the UPC program easy to administer and the staff always available to answer any of our questions.

Very valuable new clients through the UPC employer-based program

I have been a provider for United Pet Care since 2004 and I have continued to enjoy the relationship. I got some very valuable new clients through the UPC employer-based program. UPC has always been timely and reliable with our membership rosters and all necessary communication. I value the relationship and appreciate the growth in my client base.

My client base has grown substantially.

Dear Doctor;

I have been practicing veterinary medicine in Phoenix, Arizona since 1976, at which time I opened my own facility, Aberdeen Animal Hospital. I joined the United Pet Care (UPC) providor network in June 1997 and have been extremely pleased with the results of my decision.

UPC is an Arizona-based pet healthcare company founded in early 1996. This program is marketed primarily through several hundred employers, credit unions and associations who offer the program to their employees and/or members as a voluntary benefit. Pet healthcare is the third (3rd) most requested voluntary employee benefit across the country. UPC markets to the individual pet owner as well.

As a participating veterinarian, I find the UPC program valuable for the following reasons:

  1. There is no cost to me.

  2. I receive a monthly roster listing all of the UPC clients in my office, their pets, effective dates and other pertinent information.

  3. Along with the roster, I receive a monthly check based upon the number of pets on my roster.

  4. My client base has grown substantially.

  5. The majority of UPC members are gainfully employed and therefore able to care for their pets

  6. UPC has an 85% renewal rate, which keeps my client base relatively secure.

  7. My practice is marketed by UPC to employers, credit unions and associations as well as through various publications, which saves me marketing dollars.

  8. UPC provides me with an audience which gives me the opportunity to market additional procedures.

I am proud to be affiliated with United Pet Care’s growing concept and I strongly believe that you would also benefit by joining the United Pet Care providor network.
